Overview

Impact Meter is a Lahore-based social-impact analytics platform that helps NGOs and donor organizations measure and report program outcomes. Under CEO Kanwal Cheema’s leadership, the company aimed to become Pakistan’s go-to authority on social-impact measurement and attract both NGOs and donors nationwide.


Challenge

  • Low Brand Awareness: Despite a strong technology backbone, Impact Meter was known specifically in the industry.

  • Less Media Coverage: There were fewer features in major English- or Urdu-language outlets, so potential partners didn’t recognize the brand.

  • Limited Speaker Opportunities: Kanwal had not yet been invited to any national forums or industry panels.


Our Approach

Messaging Workshop & Press Kit

  • Hosted a one-day “Value Proposition & Storytelling” session with Kanwal to distill complex ideas into three concise talking points: “Measure,” “Improve,” and “Scale.”

  • Created a dual-language (English/Urdu) press kit: company fact sheet, Kanwal’s bio, and three high-impact case stories of NGOs using the platform.

Targeted Media Outreach

  • YouTube channels interviews and features reports on print media.

  • Built a media list of 20 top-tier outlets (Dawn, The Express Tribune, Jang, Business Recorder, and two Urdu TV channels).

  • Distributed a bilingual press release announcing a pilot study: “Platform X reduces program evaluation time by 40% for five major NGOs.”

Thought Leadership & Speaking Slots

  • Secured Kanwal a 15-minute keynote at Lahore Press Club to be introduced with media at large.

  • Arranged a bylined article in The News titled “Transforming Data into Impact: The Next Frontier for Pakistani NGOs.”

  • Launched a biweekly LinkedIn newsletter authored by Kanwal—promoted with targeted LinkedIn ads to NGO and CSR-focused groups.

Digital Reinforcement

  • 360° digital appearance across TikTok and all other platforms simultaneously.

  • Created a short infographic (“How Impact Meter Works”) and shared it on social channels, leading to higher shares and comments.
